Meacham ramp work is a disaster

The village of Schaumburg and the Illinois Tollway get a failing grade - really a zero - for their handling of the construction of new tollway ramps on Meacham Road.

For a major street such as Meacham (with no real alternatives close by) to go down to one lane at times means that traffic is stopped and delayed for long periods of time, and this happens on a regular basis. Trying to navigate this road at rush hour or lunch time just yields frustration and danger as many drivers cut in and out trying to get ahead.

I and others avoid this area as much as possible but sometimes it's necessary to go there. I can't believe the businesses in that area are thriving with such poor traffic planning.
