Nominations open for Influential Women in Business awards

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2015 Influential Women in Business Awards presented by the Daily Herald Business Ledger and its marketing partner, the National Association of Women Business Owners - Chicago Area Chapter.

The awards are presented to outstanding women executives who excel in business, civic and personal arenas.

The nominees' business must be located or have a major presence in the Business Ledger's primary editorial coverage area, which includes DuPage County, suburban Cook County, Kane County, Lake County or Will County.

Self nominations are accepted. Previous award recipients are not eligible.

The selection committee comprises representatives from the editorial staff of the Business Ledger. Award recipients will be notified of their selection by Oct. 1.

Award recipients will be honored at an evening reception and awards presentation to be held Nov. 5 at Danada House Conference Center in Wheaton.

Honorees will be profiled in a special issue of the Daily Herald Business Ledger to be published Dec. 7.

Nominations must be submitted online by 5 p.m. Sept. 11. Nomination guidelines and selection process, as well as nomination forms, are posted on the Business Ledger website, www.dhbusinessledger.com
