Rosemont concert in August raises money for children's hospital
Musicians Matt Nathanson and Nate Ruess will perform acoustic versions of their songs Aug. 19 in Rosemont as part of "Eric & Kathy's Concert for the Kids".
The concert at the MB Financial Park entertainment district will raise funds for The Mix 101.9 FM morning hosts' radiothon benefiting Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago.
While the concert is free, there will be on-site collections for the hospital, and 10 percent of sales from food and beverage tents also will be donated.
The concert is from 7 to 9 p.m. MB Financial Park is located east of the Tri-State Tollway and north of Balmoral Avenue.
