Lombard Civil War Encampment
Travel back in time as re-enactors portray Confederate and Union soldiers during the Lombard Civil War Encampment in Four Seasons Park, 16th and Main streets. See an 1863 military campsite, watch military drills and demonstrations, hear Civil War-era music, and take part in games and other activities. Trades Day
See demonstrations of various trades, past and present, during Trades Day at the Naper Settlement, 523 S. Webster St., Naperville. Ed Bell of Belfry Bees & Honey will discusses beekeeping, and visitors can try on beekeeping gear. Other demonstrators include a fiber artist, woodcarvers, a wool spinner, a lace maker, quilters, a blacksmith and others. Free ice cream sundaes to the first 250 visitors. Admission is $12 adults; $10 seniors ages 62 and older; $8 kids 4-12; and free for kids 3 and younger, members and Naperville residents.
