Plenty of offerings at Antioch Taste of Summer

Music, food and carnival rides were the highlights of Saturday's Antioch Taste of Summer fest.

The four-day event in downtown Antioch offers a variety of food from local restaurants, with festivalgoers dining in the sun or under the big top tent while listening to top entertainment performing in the Brook Bandshell. Sidewalk sales and craft booths are set up throughout town as well.

Antioch's Taste of Summer continues at noon Sunday, with the band Bella Cain taking the stage at 2 p.m.

The Taste's carnival features new rides and more wristband options. There are also family friendly activities, such as free face-painting and balloons created by balloon artists.
