Zombie shuffle fundraiser coming to Antioch

PM&L Theatre, 877 Main St., in downtown Antioch, will host an organized "Zombie Shuffle" Sunday, Aug. 16, to raise funds to remodel its newly-acquired building next door. Participants can dress like zombies and shuffle on the streets of Antioch while contributing to the "Arts on Main Street." The shuffle will be a mile through downtown. Visit www.pmltheatre.com or JJ Blinkers, 896 Main St., to register. Tickets are $24, and 150 tickets will be sold. Activities will run from noon to 2 p.m. at 882 Anita Ave., followed by the shuffle from 2 to 3 p.m. The shuffle concludes at PM&L Theatre. Participants will receive a souvenir ball cap, zombie decal, and a free raffle ticket. Mature zombie participants will also receive free admission for Fast Zombies with Guns (2009), an independent film to be presented at PM&L Theatre.
