Undercoverage of Coal City tornado

I have been a subscriber for many years, liking and enjoying your paper for its excellent mix of local/national news.

Your recent articles on education were excellent, knowing first hand about the problems with our education system in that I have three educators in my family.

However, your recent neglect of not reporting on the tornado damage here in southern Illinois was unforgivable. It amounted to a tiny box the day after and a few days later a piece from Pa. on their damage.

Whoever made the decision to continue to use the front page to report on the education article and neglect the devastation here in Illinois, "shame on you." I pray you never experience what the people of Coal City have and act as if it were nothing important.
