It's not racist to protest Obamacare

Recently, there was a rally on the Route 64 bridge in St. Charles, expressing strong dissatisfaction with the special provisions in Obamacare, which single out Congressmen, their staffers, Muslims and illegal aliens for special treatment.

For instance, the American public subsidizes Congressmen between $5,000 and $11,000 per year, depending on family size, insulating them from the increasing costs of Obamacare. Those rallying feel that kind of special treatment is wrong. If Americans have to pay those rising costs, we should all pay them.

There was a young man there, too, with a sign saying that the rally was "racist." This letter is written to explain to him that Obamacare is the "racist" element in the picture. Those who say we should all be treated the same are certainly not being "racist."
