Dold launches Young Women's Leadership Academy

Congressman Robert Dold will launch his 10th District Young Women's Leadership Academy from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday, June 29, at Elawa Farm, 1401 Middlefork Drive, Lake Forest. The event will feature U.S. Rep. Elise Stefanik of New York, the youngest woman ever elected to Congress. Stefanik will share her story and offer advice to millennials. Dold will also share more details about the bipartisan Young Women's Leadership Academy, which strives to inspire the next generation of female leaders by engaging with women with leadership positions in government, education, business and more. The kickoff event is open to the public. Applications are being accepted for the academy's fall semester, which runs from August to November.
