Rosemont wants to see if employees being paid fairly

Rosemont is paying a consultant $75,000 to conduct a study to see if village employees are being paid at comparable levels with those in other communities.

The report by Buck Consultants will analyze 59 different classifications of employees - from clerical staff to department directors - to see how their compensation and benefits compare with peers nationally. The study is expected to be complete before the end of the year, when village officials will make decisions about potential pay increases.
