Waukegan Township job fair

The Coalition to Reduce Recidivism will host an expungement and job fair Friday, June 19, at Christian Faith Fellowship Church, 228 N. County St., Waukegan from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will help people in finding employment. People also will have the opportunity to meet with attorneys for counsel and assistance in beginning the application process for the expungement of eligible crimes. Employers will be available for on-the-spot interviews, and social service agencies will be present to offer the resources available to the community. Waukegan Township will have speakers available to educate participants of the community resources and programs available to them. The keynote speaker will be Dorothy Brown, Clerk of Circuit Court of Cook County. For more information, contact Kim Woods at (847) 249-4900.
