Wheeling parks holds 'listening sessions' about rec center
Wheeling residents are encouraged to give input on potential improvements at the park district's Community Recreation Center during two "listening sessions" Thursday.
Patrons also can weigh in on a possible move of the Wheeling Senior Center to the park district facility on the village's municipal campus. Officials have said an addition would be necessary to relocate senior programming to the recreation center, 333 W. Dundee Road.
The sessions will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. and then again from 6 to 8 p.m. at the rec center.
