Music notes: Super Happy Fun Club debuts new tunes Saturday

Southern rocking Jimmy Nick brings his bluesy tones to Lombard's Brauerhouse with his band Don't Tell Mama Friday. Nick, who grew up playing famous clubs in Chicago, pairs with the talented Joel Baer, Ben Thompson and Lowell Todd for a set of intense, smoky blues rock you won't forget.

What started off as an album release show is now a farewell set for the suburbs' Simplistic Urge.
