Police: Woman tried to rob Aurora bank

A woman wearing a sundress attempted to rob an Aurora bank over the weekend, police say.

At about 10:45 a.m. Saturday, the woman, wearing a black jacket and pink sundress with a piece of white tape over her nose, entered the BMO Harris Bank on the 2500 block of North Farnsworth Avenue, Aurora police said. The woman slipped a note demanding money to the teller, who walked to a back room to alert a manager. The suspect took the note and left, last seen walking east from the bank, police said.

The FBI continues to investigate. Anyone with information should call (312) 421-6700.
