Grayslake museum with Cubs, Sox exhibit

Grayslake Heritage Center and Museum, 164 Hawley St., Grayslake, will host a traveling exhibit about the White Sox and Cubs this summer. "The Chicago Civil Wars" highlights the longtime rivalry between the fans of the teams. The exhibit runs June 6 to Sept. 27. To kick it off at 2 p.m. June 6, former White Sox and Cubs pitcher Steve Trout will visit the museum and sign autographs in downtown Grayslake. The show will explore loyalty and fandom through videos of each team's colorful supporters and includes interviews with former players, sports journalists and broadcasters.
