Massage worker charged with prostitution in Geneva

A worker at a Geneva massage business has been charged with prostitution.

Geneva police said they arrested Foot and Body Massage worker Lifa Jiang, 39, of Aurora, at 1 p.m. Tuesday.

Police investigated the business after receiving complaints from two people alleging illegal activity was taking place at the business at 629 W. State St.

Jiang's next court date is 8:30 a.m. June 16.

According to the state Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, Jiang is a licensed massage therapist and her license expires in December 2016.

The space used to house another massage business. Secretary of state business records indicate that corporation dissolved in 2013.
