Nature center to host story time this summer

The Forest Preserve District of Kane County invites parents and grandparents with young children out to Creek Bend Nature Center in St. Charles to enjoy the monthly "Story Time" series.

On one Friday each month, staff from the St. Charles Public Library visit Creek Bend with books, finger plays, songs and more.

"Story Time at Creek Bend Nature Center" is a fun, free program for children, infants through age 5. All are welcome to enjoy the interactive exhibits in the nature center after the program.

Summer story times will be 10:30 to 11 a.m. Fridays, June 5, July 10 and Aug. 14, at Creek Bend Nature Center within LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve, 37W700 Dean St., St. Charles.
