Loyola 4, Warren 3: Despite out-hitting Loyola 8-4, Warren couldn't pull out the nonconference win. Matt Burch and Sean Hannigan led Warren with 2 hits apiece. Burch had a double.

Jacobs 8, Lakes 2: Lakes got a small rally going in the bottom of the seventh inning, scoring both of its runs then, but it wasn't enough. Bryan Gross had 2 hits, including a double, for the Eagles, who fall to 20-10-1 on the season.

Burlington Central 12, Grayslake Central 2: Burlington Central out-hit Grayslake Central 14-4 en route to its victory. Ben Fitzgerald and John Stopka each drove in a run for Grayslake Central.

Maine South 6, Libertyville 5: Libertyville committed 5 errors in the nonconference loss. Ryan Jackson led Libertyville with 3 hits while teammate Jake Vogt had 2 hits.
