Dundee-Crown 5, Marengo 3: The Chargers (12-10) got 2 doubles and an RBI from Megan Emerson and 2 hits and an RBI from Claire Weeks to upend Class 3A power Marengo in nonconference action. Ashley Czerwinski added an RBI for D-C and Sydney Ruggles picked up the win in the circle, allowing 6 hits with 1 strikeout and no walks in a game shortened to five innings by weather.

Bartlett 12, Glenbard East 0: Elyse Hickey was 3-for-3 with a home run and 3 RBI and Alyssa Nowak went 2-for-3 with 2 doubles and 3 RBI as Bartlett (19-9-1, 12-7) rolled to an Upstate Eight Valley win. Katie Fornoff added 3 hits and RBI for the Hawks, who have now scored 36 runs on 38 hits this week. Danielle Kirby picked up the win in the circle, allowing 7 hits with 10 strikeouts.

St. Charles East 14, Elgin 0: Losing pitcher Jessica Rago had the only hit for Elgin (3-27, 2-19) in this Upstate Eight River loss.

St. Charles North 10, Larkin 0: Haley Bohne had 2 hits for Larkin (6-23, 5-15) in the UEC River. Jordan Dick was the losing pitcher.

Newark 10, Westminster Christian 0: Kristen Mason had a double for the Warriors (9-7) in their season-ending loss at the Class 1A Somonauk regional. Rachel Rich was the losing pitcher.
