Vernon Hills d. Warren: Dylan DeBoer served 5 aces and slammed 4 kills, as the Cougars won 25-19, 25-12 to improve to 21-7 and 8-2 in the North Suburban Conference.

Vernon Hills received a team-best 7 kills from Jared Bennett. Johnny McDonald also had 4 kills, while Lem Turner contributed 4 blocks and 1 kill. Alon Polischuk delivered a pair of aces, and Chris Winter had 3 blocks. Cory Levin dished out 9 assists.

"Our setters (Levin and Bennett) really made great decisions tonight, picking the right spot almost every time," Cougars coach Chris Curry said. "Jared Bennett took advantage with 7 kills in only 10 swings. Dylan DeBoer had an excellent night at the service line (16 of 17), and Adam Weinberg was outstanding in defense (7 digs)."
