Robert Cray coming to Metropolis
Five-time Grammy Award-winning blues guitarist, singer and Blues Hall of Fame member Robert Cray and his Robert Cray Band will perform at 7:30 p.m. Monday, June 8, at the Metropolis Performing Arts Centre, 111 W. Campbell St., Arlington Heights.
The Metropolis' "An Evening with Robert Cray" will be the group's only Illinois concert this season.
Cray has written music for and has performed with artists including Eric Clapton, Bonnie Raitt and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Along with his blues music, Cray's works also include rock, soul, jazz, gospel, funk and R&B selections.
