Naperville North show choirs to perform end-of-year concert
Naperville North High School show choirs will present an end-of-the-year Vocal Pop Concert that includes a year's worth of performances from the choirs' Fall Show, Halloween Show and award-winning contest shows.
The concert begins at 7 p.m. Friday, May 15, at Naperville North Performing Arts Center, 899 N. Mill St., Naperville.
The show choir program is in only its third year of competition, but members traveled to four states to compete at increasingly competitive contests and came away with many awards.
High Heeled Harmony, a 50-member all-female ensemble, won Grand Champion in the Unisex Division at three out of four contests this year. The ensemble also won Best Vocals twice.
Entourage, a 45-member mixed ensemble, qualified for the finals competition at all four contests this year, culminating with a second-place finish at the last contest and a Best Vocals win.
