Schaumburg library ready to kick off summer reading/watching program

The Schaumburg Township District Library will celebrate the kickoff of "Read to the Rhythm" summer program on Monday, June 1, at its central location in Schaumburg, as well as at branches in Hoffman Estates and Hanover Park.

"Read to the Rhythm" is the the library's summer reading/watching/doing program for all ages. Participants sign up to engage in a combination of reading and other experiences, including watching movies, listening to audio books and attending concerts, programs or bus trips. Those who complete the program receive a prize.

Adults, teens and children may sign up at any of the library locations or online at schaumburglibrary.org beginning June 1. The program ends Saturday, Aug. 15.
