Barrington wins at Glenbrook North

Mid-Suburban West boys volleyball champion Barrington added to its season of achievement with a perfect run through the competition in tournament play hosted by Glenbrook North.

The Broncos finished 5-0, defeating Vernon Hills 25-18, 25-23 in the championship match Saturday. In all five of Barrington's tournament victories, the Broncos won in two sets.

Justin Glader (29 kills), Ethan Carroll (24) and Adam Glader (23) had the top kill totals for Barrington, while Noah Ricchetti amassed 96 assists, T.J. Murray had 10 blocks and James Tiao had 35 digs.

at Leyden: Conant finished 3-2 to earn a runner-up placement in the tournament hosted by the Eagles.

Conant picked up wins over Fenton, Streamwood and Wheeling and dropped matches with St. Viator and Leyden.

Top producers for Conant included Nikola Todorov and Nick Pope (16 kills each), Tim Breiter (14 kills, 25 digs), J.T. Levitt (44 digs) and Nate Armando (28 assists, 8 digs). Todorov also had 15 blocks.
