LIBERTYVILLE -- The Eye Spot, the private practice of Dr. Svetlana Pikus, O.D., has recently opened at 1449 Peterson Road, Butterfield Square, in Libertyville.

The Eye Spot offers a full service optometric care with the emphasis on the advanced Low Vision Care. It also features an optical boutique with the latest collections of unique, independent American and European eyewear, carrying both affordable and high end frames. Many upcoming and hard to find collections are sourced directly from Europe.

Dr. Pikus places special emphasis on Low Vision Care for elderly patients, who suffer from Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy and other conditions that cause irreversible vision loss but do not cause complete and total blindness as well as the younger patients suffering from low vision conditions.
