Home State Bank expands mortgage division into Lake County

VERNON HILLS - Home State Bank is opening a home loan center at 300 Center Drive, Suite 109 in Vernon Hills, the bank's first office in Lake County.

The new location will be Home State Bank's mortgage lending headquarters in Lake County and will be managed by Joe Amato, vice president. Home State will host free homebuyer education and financial literacy programs at the location. There will be more than 10 mortgage loan officers servicing the Lake County market of homebuyers and realtors from this office.

"Our growth has occurred greatly through word-of-mouth referrals, by earning the trust through the years, of McHenry County's residents," Amato said. "We plan on bringing our high-touch, world class service experience to Lake County's homebuyers and realtors."

Home State Bank is the largest independently owned financial institution and leading home mortgage lender in McHenry County.
