Riverside-Brookfield 1, St. Edward 0: R-B left-hander Connor Berek tossed a no-hitter at the Green Wave (7-14, 3-7) in Metro Suburban West play. Patrick Costello took the loss in relief.

Montini 4, Hampshire 3: Matt Kielbasa and Trey Schramm had doubles for the Whip-Purs (13-8) in this nonconference loss. Kyle Rutkowski was the losing pitcher.

Elgin Academy 12, Schaumburg Christian 2: Jonathan Cruz went 2-for-3 with 2 doubles and 3 RBI and Karl Rauschenberger added a doubles as the Hilltoppers (7-9) won in nonconference action, surpassing last year's win total in the process. Freshman Jordan Hare got the win for EA, allowing just 2 hits with 12 strikeouts and 2 walks in 5 innings.

Luther North 8, Harvest Christian 1: Zach Pawelek and Dayne Federick each had 2 hits for the Lions (3-12, 1-7) in this Northeastern Athletic Conference loss. Chad Jakel was the losing pitcher.
