Girls soccer: Fox Valley roundup Monday, May 4

Bartlett 6, West Chicago 2: Mariela Alba scored 2 goals while Shannon Brohan and Melissa Gal each had 2 assists to lead Bartlett (9-6-1) to a win at the West Chicago tournament. Also scoring goals for the Hawks were Jess Mirsky, Sarah Jurek, Jenna Noesen and Taylor Tomasek. Tessa Jatczak (2 saves) and Mykia Wetterman (1 save) split time in goal for Bartlett.

Westminster Christian 8, Cornerstone 0: A hat trick of goals and 1 assist by freshman Mattea Huerta helped Westminster (7-5) to a nonconference win. Lindsey Vanden Bos tacked on 1 goal and 2 assists while Whtiney Woodhouse added 1 goal and 1 assist. Other goal scorers included Savannah Dutcher, Hannah Rodgers and Jessie Rodgers. Johannah Siers delivered 2 assists and both Alex Pederson and Allie Tanzillo each garnered 1.

Larkin 2, Belvidere 0: Tatiana Reynoso and Maricruz Ortiz scored first half goals in a nonconference road win, Larkin's 10th win overall. Stephanie Nunez dished 1 assist and Haley Casebeer recorded 2 saves in goal for the Royals (10-8-1).

Huntley 6, Woodstock North 0: The Red Raiders (12-2) continued their shutout streak with their fifth-straight and sixth in seven games as keeper Abbey Brown needed no saves in a dominating Fox Valley Conference crossover win. Deanna Hecht tallied 2 goals while Breanna Keegan dropped 1 goal and 2 assists. Taryn Jakubowski notched 1 goal and 1 assist and other Huntley scorers included Victoria Padal and Madison Doty. Alyssa Kaufman added 2 assists and Katie Constantino chipped in 1 assist.

CL South 3, Johnsburg 0: Kimmy Sulikowski, Katherine Siavelis and Jessica Schoenfeldt all booted goals in South's nonconference win over the Skyhawks. Alyssa Gaede had the lone CLS (12-5-1) assist while Jaclyn Przybylski earned the shutout with 11 saves.

Harvest Christian 7, Rockford Christian Life 0: The Lions (9-6, 4-1) ended their NAC campaign with a second-place finish after a commanding road win. Ellie Burzlaff, Morgan Lockwood and Amanda Moore all scored twice while Taylor Keeran found the net once. Maddie Knudsen had 2 assists and Ariel Thome lofted 1 assist. Keeper Isamar Garcia came up with the 80-minute shutout.
