Letter to Editor: Politicians get what politicians want

Let me understand, the Mayor of Chicago and the President of the Illinois State Senate want to take park land from the people in order put up buildings that no one gets a say on whether it is wanted.

Trust me, they will get this legislation to the govenor's desk within about a weeks time.

Personally, I don't really have an opinion on either facility.

What I find so profound is how when the political elite wants something in this state, how quickly and decisively they can act to get things done.

Unlike when thousands of ordinary citizen ask to get redistricting out of their hands and have it done fairly.

The judicial branch, already packed with "their" servants will quickly rule this is all legal and wholly justified.

Just greasy Illinois politics as usual! We truly are a national joke.
