Linden model opens at Woodleaf at The Sanctuary Club

Woodleaf at The Sanctuary Club invites you to build your dream home in this scenic enclave of 26 custom and semi-custom luxury homes on half-acre and larger homesites in Kildeer.

"We offer a unique, serene setting for homebuyers where no homes back up to another home, but rather to rolling hills and abundant mature trees," said Jeff Benach, co-principal of Lexington Homes.

Portfolio Homes, the premium division of Lexington Homes, presents seven new floor plans designed specifically for this community. Homes include the highest end luxury features, which sets the community apart from many in the area.

"The Linden model home showcases a spacious open design that is evident the moment you walk through the front door into the grand foyer, which provides an open view of the large family room that's highlighted by cathedral ceilings and a masonry fireplace," Benach said.

The Linden design is base-priced at $805,000 and features almost 4,000 square feet, four bedrooms, four bathrooms and a three-car garage. This home showcases several available upgrades.

"This is a beautiful design on a beautiful piece of property," said Jane Wlezien, designer with Eleni Interiors of Naperville, whose work is seen in the model home. "It's very elegant, but it still feels like family."

A towering two-story foyer welcomes you into this home, furnished in a transitional style in a gray and navy palette with silver accents.

The living room shows a wall with panel molding that adds architectural interest to the room and has a custom look.

"There's so much texture and interest to the wall that we didn't add any artwork," Wlezien said. "This kind of wall treatment is a very current look."

The dining room, which has a distinctive coffered ceiling, is separated from the contemporary kitchen by a butler's pantry.

The state-of-the-art kitchen features an abundance of high-end, solid wood maple cabinetry with extra-wide crown molding, lots of counter space and an island designed for seating. Viking appliances include a French door refrigerator, 36-inch cooktop with five burners and a 30-inch double wall oven. There's also a sunny breakfast nook and pantry.

In the family room, a two-story fieldstone fireplace flanked by windows with draperies that reach to the ceiling is a stunning focal point.

This level also includes a private library that could be converted into a nanny's room or in-law suite.

Homeowners will appreciate the upscale mud room with custom built-in cabinetry and cubbies, a popular feature in today's new homes.

The open design flows throughout the second floor, which features a large balcony overlooking the entryway and family room, four bedrooms, three full baths and a bonus room perfect for an office or media room.

The dramatic master suite encompasses almost half of the second level and has its own private veranda from which homeowners can enjoy their morning coffee as they take in spectacular natural views. A tray ceiling and beautiful chandelier get your attention while furnishings include mirrored accent chests on each side of the bed, which add some sparkle.

The three secondary bedrooms include a boy's room with a hockey theme and a frilly girl's room, both with access to the Jack-and-Jill bath, and a guest room with volume ceiling and private bath.

Woodleaf at The Sanctuary Club sits along the north side of Half Day Road (Route 22) west of Old McHenry Road and east of Quentin Road.

The Linden model is at 23120 N. Sanctuary Club Drive. Sales hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
