Kids can check out the 'Wonderful World of Wheels' May 4

Kids can climb on a trolley and sit in a police car at Naperville Park District's 2015 Wonderful World of Wheels, a free event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, May 4, at the Whole Foods Market parking lot, 2607 W. 75th St., Naperville.

Children will be able to see, touch and explore large and small vehicles, from the familiar to the unique. The first 500 children in attendance will receive a yellow or pink "hard" hat.

Sponsors of the 2015 event include Whole Foods Naperville Market, Rocket Ice, Kidsnips and Happy Family Brands. Rocket Ice will bring their Zamboni and Kidsnips will provide free spray hair color and braiding.

Reggie the Veggie, the park district tractor that runs on 100 percent vegetable oil, will be back by popular demand, along with a trolley, bucket truck, police car, ambulance, sanitary inspection truck, and a Western DuPage Special Recreation Association bus named Bubba.

No registration is required for this event. There is no rain date; in case of inclement weather parents may check the Naperville Park District's Weather Cancellations tab at www.napervilleparks.org/cancellations or call the Rainout Line at (630) 883-4242.
