Girls soccer: Fox Valley roundup Tuesday, April 21

CL South 1, Jacobs 0: The Gators (7-4-1, 1-0) picked up their first Fox Valley Conference Valley Division win with a goal from Kimmy Sulikowski assisted by Jess Schoenfeldt in the first half. Keeper Jaclyn Przybylski managed 5 saves for her sixth full-game shoutout.

Burlington Central 11, North Boone 0: Central (10-2, 5-1) completely annihilated the Vikings in Big Northern East action as both Jordan King and Julia Pestche turned in hat tricks and an assist to boot. Among other Rocket scorers were Alexis Rosa (2 goals), Elizabeth Gousios (1 goal, 2 assists), Yareli Vargas (1 goal, 1 assist) and Megan Safranski (1 goal). Sydney Pryor dished 2 assists while Darlene Valdez tallied 1 and goalkeeper Erin Rafferty made 4 saves in net.

Bartlett 8, East Aurora 0: Shannon Brohan's hat trick helped the Hawks (6-4-1, 1-0-1) to an easy Upstate Eight Valley win. Josie Dombrowski totaled 2 goals and both Toria Tomasek and Jess Mirsky had 1 goal and 1 assist. Mariela Alba had 3 assists while Jenna Dombrowski added 1 and Mariah Martinez and Tessa Jatczak put together save-less halves in goal.

Westminster Christian 4, Christian Liberty 0: Freshman midfielder Mattea Huerta scored once but laced a trio of assists to lead the Warriors (4-2, 3-0) to a Northeastern Athletic Conference win. Lindsey Vanden Bos collected 1 goal and 1 assist while Alexa Pederson and Whintey Woodhouse each added goals. Keeper Savannah Dutcher corralled 2 saves.

Harvest Christian 4, IMSA 0: Morgan Lockwood's all-around performance with 2 goals, 2 assists and 2 saves in net lifted the Lions (5-3, 2-1) in a NAC win. Midfielders Amanda Moore and Holley Colclasure each added goals and keeper Isamar Garcia secured 5 saves in net in 70 minutes of action.

Glenbard South 3, St. Edward 2: The Green Wave (4-6, 0-2) let a 2-1 lead slip in the second half of a Metro Suburban West loss with 2 goals allowed in the final 20 minutes. Megan Kearney assisted on both Kathleen Duffy and Ashley Lopez's goals and keeper Paige Dykstra totaled 6 saves.

St. Charles East 9, Elgin 0: The Maroons (5-6-2, 0-3-2) ran into the Saints' buzz saw and dropped an Upstate Eight River showdown at Memorial Field. Goalkeeper Hannah Demel accounted for 4 saves.

Woodstock North 1, Hampshire 0: Despite 9 saves from Kaila Kienzler in net, a second half goal by the Thunder held off the Whip-Purs (0-14, 0-2) in FVC Fox action.

Willows Academy 10, Elgin Academy 0: Goalie Katherine Palmer made 23 saves but the Hilltoppers (0-6) were unable to come up with enough scoring in an Independent School League loss.

Cary-Grove 1, McHenry 1: Emma Baker scored the goal and Miranda Malone registered the shutout with 2 saves for the Trojans in the FVC Valley.
