Cougars starter Brad Keller (0-1) worked 5 strong innings, but left with a 1-0 deficit.

In the sixth, Clinton's Joe DeCarlo launched his third home run of the series, a solo shot.

The Cougars begin a three-game road trip today at 6 p.m. against the Quad Cities River Bandits.
