Victim's rights week event:
The Lake County State's Attorney's Office will host a recognition event in honor of National Victims' Rights Week on Monday, April 20, at the College of Lake County Grayslake Campus, 19351 West Washington St., Building C, lower level. The event will feature John Caples, an area pastor and member of the Lake County State's Attorney's Citizens Advisory Panel, from 4 to 6 p.m. A program and awards presentation will be held inside the CLC auditorium in the lower lever of the C-Wing at 6 p.m. Social service agencies will also be on hand to offer their services and benefits to the public.
