Addison Trail wins in bottom of seventh

Addison Trail 2, Lyons Twp. 1:

Angelo Feola's two-out single scored Jaime Valdez with the game-winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning for the Blazers (2-10). Winning pitcher Andy Barrientos struck out four in a 5-hitter. Valdez and Eric Gilliam had 2 hits apiece.

Glenbard South 9, Chicago Christian 5:

The Raiders (10-2, 5-1) notched their sixth straight victory behind a 2-for-4 effort with a double and 4 RBI from Kyle Carli. Joey Atkinson and Andrew Wrona each went 2-for-3. Fabian Garcia pitched into the sixth inning to earn the Metro Suburban Conference win.

Waubonsie Valley 7, South Elgin 4:

Ryan Jones, who doubled twice, and Brandon Petersen had 2 hits and drove in 2 runs for the Warriors (9-3, 5-1), who topped the Storm for the second time in their Upstate Eight Valley series. Garret Howicz also had 2 hits. Jacob Hennessy notched the win and Quinton Zielke got the save.

Neuqua Valley 8, West Aurora 2:

The Wildcats (8-4, 4-2) exploded for 7 runs in the fourth inning to take two of three from West Aurora in their Upstate Eight Valley series. Tyler Tesmond and Kevin Hutt drove in 2 runs while Zach Herdman and winning pitcher Alex DiFranco had 2 hits.

Wheaton Academy 7,

Timothy Christian 3:

Jake Lindstedt and Luis Ramos each drove in 2 runs for the Warriors (9-3, 4-1) in their Metro Suburban Conference victory. Chris Johnson and Lindstedt had 2 hits. Christian Ebeling was the winning pitcher. Jon Barrera went 2-for-3 and Jimmy Brush drove in a run for Timothy Christian (5-4, 3-2).

Glenbard West 5, Morton 3:

Alex Martenson and Will Simoneit went 3-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI. Billy Becker drove in 2 runs and Rudy Litavsky had 2 hits. Winning pitcher Sam Kaske, Arno Curtis and Ryan Coleman combined on the mound.
