Why so timid on GOP senators?

The ACT prevents unauthorized citizens from negotiating with foreign governments in time of dispute.

Our country has been in dispute with Iran since 1979.

These senators are not authorized to negotiate period, unless request by the resident or security of state.

The 47 Senators who signed the letter sent to Iran broke the law.

This is a felony, punishable by jail time.

Why is everyone being so timid about this, because they're senators?

They are citizens, put their pants on the same way we do and should not be given a pass on this, because you or I wouldn't be given a pass and thrown in jail.

What's really disgusting is the Fourth Estate who is supposed to be shining a light on these kind of infringements. Our representative is the Daily Herald, and why aren't they yelling from the top of the Willis Building demanding an investigation by the Justice Department? Where is your backbone Daily Herald?
