Huntley 3, Barrington 1: Autumn Kassal had a 2-run double and Jessica Shields was 2-for-4 with an RBI as Huntley (3-2) scored a big nonconference win over highly regarded Barrington. Kateri Conklin got the complete-game win for the Red Raiders, allowing just 4 hits with 5 strikeouts and 5 walks.

Jacobs 17, Larkin 1: Kerri Healy was 4-for-4 with 4 doubles and 6 RBI as the Golden Eagles (1-5) picked up their first win for new coach Katie O'Brien. Hailey Lonigro (RBI), Alexis Addante (2-for-2, 3 RBI), Teaghan Richman (2-for-4, 2 RBI), Sarah Murray (3-for-3) and Jessica Powell (2-for-4, 3 RBI) all added doubles for Jacobs. Katie Borchert also drove in a run. Richman picked up the win in the circle, allowing just 2 hits with 4 strikeouts and 2 walks. Haley Bohne had an RBI for Larkin (0-5). Sarah Hansen was the losing pitcher.

Addison Trail 12, Streamwood 3: Losing pitcher Jessica Daley had a double for the Sabres (3-4) in this nonconference loss.

CL South 5, Marian Central 4: The Gators remained undefeated on the season as Hailee Massie went the distance, allowing 6 hits with 3 strikeouts and 5 walks. Taylor Kassel (2-for-4), Jenica Terry (2 RBI), Carly Chovanec (2-for-4, 2B) and Lauren Gauger (RBI) led the offense for Crystal Lake South (6-0).
