Property tax appeal seminar planned for April 13 in Arlington Heights

Residents will be able to learn how to appeal their property tax bill with the county during a seminar, Monday, April 13, in Arlington Heights, organizers say.

Those who reside in Elk Grove Township are encouraged to bring their property tax bill, paperwork from any appraisal performed in the past 18 months, and a closing statement if their house was purchased within the last year, to the event at the Elk Grove Township building, located at 2400 S. Arlington Heights Road.

The seminar, scheduled from 7 to 8:30 p.m., is co-sponsored by state Rep. Marty Moylan, state Sen. Dan Kotowski and Elk Grove Township Assessor Connie Carosielli.
