Community invited to ECC Job, Internship Fair April 17

Bring plenty of résumés, dress for success and be prepared to shine during the Elgin Community College Job and Internship Fair on Friday, April 17.

Jobseekers will have the opportunity to talk with recruiters and hiring managers from more than 100 area employers with positions to fill, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the college's Spartan Events Center, Building J, 1700 Spartan Drive, Elgin.

The event is free and open to the public. Parking is available in lots H and J off Renner Drive and entrance is through the Spartan Events Center.

Employers participating in the job fair include Elgin Area School District U-46, Grand Victoria Casino, Chase Card Services, VNA Health Care, Advocate Health Care, Taylor Family YMCA, Six Flags, Auto Truck Group, Fastenal, and Bystronic.

There are still slots available for employers who would like to attend.
