Dundee-Crown 13, Larkin 3: Jessica McVicker hit 2 home runs and had a double while freshmen Andrea Conway and Sydney Ruggles each had a double and a home run to lead the Chargers' 20-hit attack in this nonconference win. Deanna Origer had a double for the Chargers (3-0) and Ruggles was the winning pitcher. Haley Bohne (3-for-3, RBI) and Ciara Alonso each had doubles for Larkin (0-2). Sarah Hansen was the losing pitcher.
St. Charles East 12, Jacobs 6: Emily Borg was 3-for-4 with an RBI while Taylor Belo (2 RBI) and freshman Kerri Healy each hit home runs for Jacobs (0-3) in this nonconference loss. Sarah Murray also doubled for the Golden Eagles and losing pitcher Alexis Addante had 2 hits.
