Mazurek paces Conant victory

Girls soccer

Conant 5, Prospect 0: The host Cougars got a 2-goal, 2-assist effort from sophomore Emily Mazurek to earn an MSL West girls soccer crossover victory on Wednesday.

Sidney O'Keefe, Rachel Raymer and Kaylin Feeley also scored for Conant, which led 3-0 at the half.

Hoffman Estates 1, Schaumburg 0: Natalie Nagrant scored with an assist from Ana Sall to help the visiting Hawks pick up an MSL West victory.

Buffalo Grove 3, Elk Grove 0: Sarah O'Connor scored twice, including one with an assist from Sara Busse, to help the host Bison past the Grens in MSL East play. Busse also scored, with a helper from O'Connor.

Palatine 3, Rolling Meadows 0: Freshman Sarah Clancy had a pair of goals and Samantha Malak had 1 to help the Pirates win an MSL crossover. Kacie Filian, Kelly Reynolds and Katie Conklin had assists for Palatine.

Hersey 9, Wheeling 0: The Huskies improved to 3-1-1 with an MSL East victory.
