Geneva candidate cares deeply

We ask readers to vote April 7 for Taylor Egan, who is running for Geneva School District Board. We have two children who attend Millcreek Elementary School, one who will soon attend Geneva Middle School North.

The quality of our children's education is deeply important to us since we will be in this school district for many years to come. As a result, we want to ensure we have a quality board that thinks strategically and will exhibit strong leadership skills to responsibly lead the district into the future.

Taylor is someone who cares very deeply about the quality of education for all students in our community. Taylor will be a dedicated advocate for students, parents, educators and administrators because she fully understands we need all of these parties working together to be successful for our children. We have witnessed first hand Taylor's enthusiasm and dedication during her involvement in the Millcreek PTO.

When Taylor is faced with an important decision, she dives into it thoroughly, researching the issue and meeting with key parties who would have a vested interest in the outcome. She listens intently, patiently, and asks the right questions to understand what course of action should be taken to ensure the best outcome. Taylor will bring a new perspective to the board that we believe will be critical as we prepare our school district for the challenges forthcoming. Taylor also has elementary school aged children, so she will have a vested interest in the quality of our schools for years to come.
