Candidates focused on improving Carpentersville

For many years I have brought issues to the village board of Carpentersville. Mostly I find the trustee friendly, but more interested in getting along than looking out for the welfare of the residents.

If one has not been to Carpentersville in the last five years, they would return to see a reinvigorated community. My business has been a major catalyst in that rebirth. The village board in general has not been a partner in these efforts and has closemindedly used past practice, regulations or lack of authority as an excuse for their lack of leadership or even cooperation.

After interviewing all new candidates for trustee, I am supporting Mills, Garcia and Scholl and ask that you do the same.

I believe that they are truly interested in working to improve Carpentersville and that they are more than single-issue candidates.
