Candidate committed to Dist. 200 students

District 200 voters are fortunate to have Chris Crabtree as a candidate for school board. Chris has been committed to district students for more than 20 years, first as a teacher at Whittier Elementary School, then as PTA president at Pleasant Hill Elementary School and Monroe Middle School, and currently as district PTA council president.

She has volunteered countless hours of her time on everything from serving on the team that facilitated the Engage 200 process to organizing staff appreciation breakfasts and school fundraisers to shelving books in the school library.

No task is too big or too small for Chris. Her overriding concern is to ensure that ALL students get the best education possible. She is a leader who listens, builds consensus and gets things done.

She also is aware of the fiscal challenges our district faces and is cognizant of the pressures on taxpayers.

I have known Chris for many years as a neighbor and friend. I am grateful for all she has done and look forward to seeing her continue her service to District 200 as a school board member. I urge you to vote for Chris Crabtree on April 7.
