Warren rolls in season opener

Alliyah Parker scored 4 goals and Grace Wiltgen added 3, as Warren's girls soccer team opened its season with an 11-0 win over Zion-Benton in a North Suburban Lake Division game Saturday.

Valentina Rodriguez, Jillian Hansen and Natalie McNally also scored for the Blue Devils. Abigail Vrabel added 3 assists, while Parker and Alexis Strothers had 2 apiece.

Warren keeper Liz Carrano made 1 save in earning the shutout.

Libertyville 4, Grayslake Central 1: Maddie Olson scored twice for the Wildcats in their season opener.

Vernon Hills 4, Lake Park 2: Kaitlin Gramins and Kristen Guglielmi each had a goal and an assist for the Cougars.

Vernon Hills (2-1) also got goals from Becky Bahlmann and Haley Lieberman.

Round Lake 2, Waukegan 0: Michelle Hernandez and Jasmine Cruz (penalty kick) scored for the host Panthers in the nonconference match.
