A plane landed safely at O'Hare International Airport Saturday afternoon without the help of its front landing gear, officials say.

Federal Aviation Administration officials say a regional GoJet flight from Grand Rapids, Michigan, to Chicago reported its gear indicator light was on as it was approaching the airport and the nose gear was still in its up position.

Flight No. 3645 experienced a partial gear up landing at about 3:20 p.m., GoJet officials said in a news statement. The plane's 37 passengers and four crew members were able to exit through the main cabin door and were taken via bus from the aircraft to the terminal.

GoJet is operated by United Airlines. This flight was operating as United Express.
