'Real Housewives of Melbourne' airing primetime in the US

NEW YORK (AP) - TV's "Real Housewives" franchise is giving U.S. viewers a taste of life down under.

"The Real Housewives of Melbourne" is the first international version of the show that's been exported to the U.S. to air in prime time.

Its first season aired last summer in America on Sunday afternoons. Now, the show has moved to Thursdays at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo.

It's also airing in Australia.

The cast this season includes barrister Gina Liano, art collector Gamble Breaux and psychic Jackie Gillies who is married to musician Ben Gillies.

(Most of season one's drama dealt with Liano doubting Gillies' sixth sense, especially after Gillies told her her long-distance boyfriend was cheating on her.)

In a recent interview while on a trip to New York with her husband, Gillies said she also predicted she would be on a "Real Housewives" show weeks before she even knew an Australia version was in the works.

She knows some are skeptical of her intuition but she says she believes with a positive outlook, you can make anything happen.

Her passion is to encourage others that they can manifest their own goals into reality.

Another dream is to move to America and join the cast of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."

"We're made for this country" Ben Gillies said with a laugh.
