Dense fog advisory for the suburbs

Officials are urging motorists to slow down this morning due to a dense fog advisory in the suburbs.
The National Weather Service in Chicago issued the dense fog advisory until 9 a.m. this morning.
The fog will reduce visibility to less than a quarter-mile in some areas, officials said.
Officials warn that drivers should slow down and leave plenty of distance ahead to avoid accidents.
