Michael Beasley signs 2nd 10-day contract with Miami Heat

MIAMI (AP) - Michael Beasley signed a second 10-day contract with the Miami Heat on Sunday.

Beasley has averaged 10.5 points in six games so far this season with the Heat, and it's expected that he will remain with the team for the remainder of the season.

Beasley scored 18 points in Miami's comeback win over Sacramento on Saturday night.

The Heat play host to Boston on Monday, with six players listed as either out or questionable. Chris Bosh (blood clots) and Josh McRoberts (knee) are both out, and Luol Deng (thigh), Goran Dragic (back), Hassan Whiteside (ankle) and Udonis Haslem (knee) are all questionable.

Once this 10-day deal expires, the Heat will have to either sign Beasley for the rest of the season or sever ties.
