Indianapolis police investigate fatal shooting of man
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Indianapolis police are investigating the death of a man found dead in a strip mall parking lot on the east side of the city.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department say officers were called to the scene about 4 a.m. Sunday and found 27-year-old Terry Proctor Jr. of Indianapolis shot in the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency personnel.
Police interviewed people in the area and forensic investigators were called in.
Police say they have not identified a suspect in the shooting.
